Become a volunteer

Volunteering has always been an integral part of GCP since our very beginning.

GCP started as a community of volunteers responding to the need of asylum seekers arriving in Glasgow over 20 years ago. Since then volunteering has been part of our very core. Volunteers can be found in our services, groups, projects, one-off events, classes and a variety of occasional volunteering. Volunteers at GCP play a pivotal role. Without the commitment, experience and many hours volunteers give to GCP we would not be able to offer the wide range of services we do. Volunteers enhance our work and make our work possible.

We hope that volunteering with GCP is a rich experience for all our volunteers. We strive to welcome and include volunteers in all aspects of the charity. Enabling volunteers to experience opportunities to develop their skills, gain new experience, and facilitate meaningful relationships within our community and staff team.
